At its core, The Power of Habit contains an exhilarating argument: The key to exercising regularly, losing weight, raising exceptional children, becoming more productive, building revolutionary companies and social movements, and achieving success is understanding how habits work. Habits aren't destiny. As Charles Duhigg shows, by harnessing this new science, we can transform our businesses, our communities, and our lives.

Great insights to start gaining control
Though the book might be a bit long in its illustrative stories the author clearly explains how habits actually work at a personal, social, company or institutional level and give practical advice on where to start.

Overall a good book. Only thing I didn't like much is that the book dedicate too much space to concrete examples of habits (real people stories) and how they affect people's life, and not enough space on reflection/investigation of the core concepts.
