not always clear
i am a non native english speaker /listener and the geography of the malazan empire, as well as the race and what are those races inside the story aren't clear to me . otherwise it is very good, i loved the humour , the characters and the depth of the story

Epic
Excellent story. Intriguing characters. Wonderful performance. This is by far my favourite fantasy series. The experience improves with repetition.

Not for me
I bought this based on reviews and recommendations but I just couldn't get into the story. Had to stop and return it after 3 chapters, I couldn't figure out what the story was about.
