He retraces the migration of his mother's family from Kansas to Hawaii, then to his childhood home in Indonesia. Very interesting.

I enjoyed learning about Barack's life story and I was glad it was his voice reading. It wasn't captivating but interesting and occasionally his intonation was a bit much but I did enjoy it. His speech at the end brought tears to my eyes and summed up the achievement of his life with a powerful emotion that I did not feel in his autobiography.
