Résumé de l'éditeur

He is a good man, a brilliant corporate executive, an honest, handsome family man admired by men and desired by women. But a lifetime ago Ben Tyson was a lieutenant in Vietnam. There the men under his command committed a murderous atrocity -- and together swore never to tell the world what they had done. Now the press, army justice, and the events he tried to forget have caught up with Ben Tyson. His family, his career, and his personal sense of honor hang in the balance. And only one woman can reveal the truth of his past -- and set him free.

La voix des critiques

"The flashbacks to Hue, the pre-trial investigation (involving an attractive female major), the court-martial proceedings, the emotions of the principal characters and the soul-sickness wrought by war (which is the story's effective subtext) all are depicted with marvelous vividness." The best deMille, outside of Cory

Considérez-vous la version audio meilleure que la version papier ?

The audio versionis superb...long but the suspense keeps you going.I did not read the paper version

Quel était le moment le plus mémorable de Word of Honor ?

The end, when you understand everything...but some of the scenes in Vietnam depicting events in the war were excellent.

Qu'est-ce qu'a pu apporter Scott Brick de plus à l'histoire par rapport à si vous aviez lu le livre ?

Brick is the reference "American" voice...perfect

Avez-vous d'autres commentaires ?

This book was for me the best DeMille...because of the wide ranging scope covering the Vietnam war, modern day bourgois America and the skill of maintaining so many trails to the story. The hero of course is also classic DeMille !
